The start of a new year is the perfect time to refresh your practice and learn a few new things that you can take with you into 2019. So come welcome in the new year with a two hour practice that is equal parts strong, inspiring, and restorative.
Michael will begin by guiding you through a grounding, challenging slow flow designed to get you ready to go upside down. Then we will spend time practicing two different versions of headstand (one with the support of blocks that is especially safe and inviting if you’re new to inversions) and forearm stand. There will be plenty of time for questions, feedback, and guided practice, and rest as you invert.
We will wind down our practice with 40 minutes of soothing restorative poses, and a short guided meditation that will lead you into a long, supported savasana.
