Groupon

How can I get started?

You can not sign up online if you have not brought your Groupon into the studio. You MUST come to the studio 10 minutes before the class you want to take and the front desk can redeem your Groupon that is printed or on your phone. Once your Groupon is redeemed in the studio it will be on your account and you can sign up online.

Will the class be full if I can't sign up online? 

Our studio is first come first serve. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure a spot. We cannot guarantee you a spot but you shouldn't have an issue if you arrive early.

What if my Groupon has expired since I bought it?

You have a certain amount of time after you buy the Groupon to bring it into the studio. If the expiration passes then we are able to put the dollar amount you paid onto your account and you can use that money towards another pack or class in the studio. Once the Groupon has expired we can not put the 5 or 10 classes onto your account.

How long do I have to use my 5 or 10 groupon classes once I redeemed
it in the studio?

You have 60 days to use the classes.

What if I bought a groupon and I am not brand new (first time)
to the studio?

We can only honor the groupon if it is your first visit to the studio so please pick between doing the $20 newcomer special or the Groupon. You can not do both. If you mistakenly bought the Groupon and you have been to LPY before we can put the dollar amount onto your account and that amount can be used towards classes at the studio. This can only be done once. Once you have redeemed a Groupon for the cash amount you can not do it again.

What do I need to do the first time I come?

It is always helpful to come 10-15 minutes before the class you want to take. If you try to sign up online and have any trouble just come in.

What should I bring?

Bring a towel, water, and mat (mat used in both yoga and barre), and a hair tie if you have longer hair. We have all of these items available to you for rental or purchase.

What to expect?

Heated classes range in temperature from 95-105 degrees F with a humidity between 35-50%. Unheated classes range in temperature from 80-85 degrees F. Tighter fitting clothing is recommended for heated classes as sweating can make loose clothes heavy.

How often should I come?

It’s totally up to you and your body will benefit whenever you come. Practicing yoga 2-3x/week helps the body to fully realize the benefits of strengthening and stretching the muscles.

Do I need to have done yoga before to come to class?

Definitely not. Beginners are welcome in all classes, and options to modify are always offered by teachers.

Can I leave early?

We only ask that you do so as discretely as possible to not interrupt the practice of others around you. We ask that you don't enter a room or leave during "Oming" or savasana. But of course - we completely understand that it is not always possible to allocate the full hour or hour and a half, and we are happy to have you as long as you can stay.

Pre-Registration Policy

We are a first come first serve studio.  Preregistration is available but it is only for your scheduling convenience.  We do not hold spaces for online sign up.  

The one exception to this policy is if you sign up for an Monthly Auto-Renew or Annual membership.  In this case if you sign up in advance we will hold your spot as a perk to the membership.  We ask that if you sign up as a member you show up.  Excessive cases of signing up and not showing up will result in being charged.  Thanks!

I'm late, I missed a class - What's next?

It is our firm belief that if everyone was just a little kinder and more forgiving we would all be so much better off!  We try our best to make exceptions for everyone.  Our desk staff is often at the desk and can accommodate for anyone late but there are times when class begins and there is no desk staff.  The doors are locked at 5 minutes after the class starts so please do your best to be on time. 

If you signed up for a class and didn't show up its ok!  We know stuff happens.  We don't at this time charge you or take away classes when you miss a class.  Please see above in the Pre Registration Policy section for the rule when it comes to members. 

Class Pack Expirations

Again - we know stuff happens!  That is why we are happy to offer regular priced class packs that won't expire.  If you have paid for a pack in full (not on sale) and it has expired (we put expirations for technical reasons) please contact us and we will be happy to extend. 

If you have bought a pack on sale, or a groupon, there are strict very clear expirations.  Sale packs can not be extended. Thanks for understanding!

Kids Policy

We have specific classes for both kids and teens on the schedule and recommend them as age appropriate options.  If your child is under 15 and you would like to bring them to class with you please contact management to discuss.  While we do allow children under 15 to come with a parent we require that they are both physically and mentally able to focus for the duration of the class without being a distraction to others around them. The growing body of a child or teen is benefited by the specialized teen and kids classes we offer so if you have any questions they might be the best place to start.  You can always contact management to discuss as well.
