SESSION ONE: Saturday 6/8 | 1:00-3:00pm | Hands to Heart
This 2 hour rolling session is designed to promote mobility, improve performance and reduce pain in the upper 1/2 of the body. You will review the major joints and muscles in this area of the body (shoulder, AC joint, elbow, wrist, thoracic spine), move them, roll them. Then, you will explore how breath & sound can assist you in ball rolling and self massage and impact the health of the nervous system.
SESSION TWO: Saturday 6/8 | 5:30-7:30pm | Feet to Hips
Feet to Hips will be a 2 hour rolling session designed to promote mobility, improve performance and reduce pain in the lower 1/2 of the body. Great for those with balance issues or tight legs and hips, we will review the major joints and muscles of our foundation and learn movement, massage and postural techniques to help reduce pain, improve mobility and enhance balance.
SESSION THREE: Sunday 6/9 | 1:00-3:00pm | BACK in Action
This 2 hour rolling session explores all the "core-so" muscles of posture, rotation and breath - common pain points, release strategies & more. This will be beneficial for anyone who suffers from back pain (which is 90% of Americans according to some studies). Great for athletes, those who spend a lot of time at a computer and everyone in between!
SESSION FOUR: Sunday 6/9 6/8 | 5:30-7:30pm | Full Body Roll Out
This two hour session w/Alyssa Hale Prettyman will deliver a full body "up the front / down the back" self massage session - knocking on the highlights of all previous teachings and showing the students yet another way they could compose a rolling session.
