Are you ready to feel the real world benefits of this practice?! Using Yoga Tools to Manage Anxiety is a 120 minute workshop that explores the three anchors of the “yoga triangle” – breath, body, mind – and how each may be used to help manage stress and anxiety.
Join us to learn about mindfulness and how your nervous system reacts to real or perceived threats that we face in daily life. We will learn about the breath and practice pranayama; we will learn about the body and share a vinyasa slow flow; we will learn about the mind and end our workshop with restorative poses and Yoga Nidra body scan.
Lisa Carlson-Hill is a LICSW who worked in the medical social work field for over twenty years. First introduced to yoga during college, the practice has provided her with an increased sense of balance both on and off the mat over the years. Come learn and practice in a supportive environment and takeaway strategies to use as you navigate your world.
